My company is in the business of inspecting motels and hotels to make sure that they stay up to health and safety standards. I know that these places dread our arrival, but we do not mean to cause them any problems unless they are cutting corners or getting sloppy. I always enjoy going to the Monterey Hotels for my inspections for two reasons. Usually they are in excellent shape and pass with flying colors. My other reason is that this is the area that I grew up in. I have long time friends that I get to visit and catch up on the latest news. Coming home is always a treat.
