My daughter has a serious medical condition which requires that we see a number of doctors every year. She has a cardiologist, a gastrologist, a neurologist,  and a pulmonologist, just to name a few. Her medical records are now seven inches thick and each doctor needs a new copy every time we see them. This allows them to stay informed about what the others are doing. I kept this copy on my home computer and lost everything when it got a virus and died. Now I use carbonite online backup for these files as they are just too important to lose. I was able to recover her records as we had seen the neurologist the day before. His office was kind enough to copy them for me, but I don’t want to have to go through that again.
