As a parent, I have always been there for my kids, no matter where they have been.  I guess it is something that is expected of a parent, but I actually enjoy being able help my kids out when they need it, even though they are grown and out on their own.  For example, my daughter got stuck out of town, far too far away for me to be able to help in person, so I was able to send her a money transfer to help her out.  The best thing is that I was actually able to do it from right here at home, online.
