It had been a long afternoon and I knew my little one was really tired, but I did  not want her to go to bed unfed. I gently sat Suzy in her high chair and proceeded to warm up some left-overs for a quick and easy supper. When I turned around to give my little girl her plate, Suzy just smiled and sighed as though she thought that this was not really necessary at all. I put her bowl on the tray and encouraged her to eat-up before bedtime. Then I went to get her a glass of milk from the fridge. When I came back, Suzy was sound asleep with her head in her bowl.
