My son came up to me the other night after I arrived home from work, and he asked me if he could have a candy bar.  I told him that there was no way that I was going to give him a candy bar, and I told him to go and get something healthy.  He then told me that there was no such thing as a healthy snack.  I was shocked for a second.  I decided that I would put a healthy snacks list together and have it posted on the refrigerator, as well as the pantry, so he will always have some healthy options in front of him.
