It seems as if everyone I play paintball has one of those Paintball Barrels at the end of their gun. They all seem very happy with their gun accessory. I am thinking of picking up one before we head to the arena again. I would hope I can get one for a reasonable price. I know a few of the players have hundreds of dollars invested in their barrel. I have already put a ton of money into a state of the art gun. I don’t want to spend a whole lot more. Although if I can pick up one at a reasonable price, I would be willing to try it out.

I remember the days when I was a child and I got the new pair of shoes with Velcro fasteners.  I loved those shoes because I did not have to get my mom to tie my shoes for me.  So when I saw a pair of Jordan 1 shoes at the store with similar Velcro fasteners I had to get them.  It was like a way of saying I have a new independence.  I am doing things on my own and I also am wearing a shoe that is a throwback to my childhood.  Plus I like the way they look.

My mom is, as she is all too frequently told, the original “spoil them rotten” grand mother.  Seriously, it is just about out of control and I think I knew that the day that she promised both kids a car the second they turned 16.  In the meantime she thinks they ought to have their own Dune Buggies to have fun in.  Naturally she has decided to buy one for each of them and only the best will do for her.  I am at the point now where I just throw up my hands, smile, and say I am grateful for her generosity.

I have just discovered the most amazing thing! There is now available what is called ipod running workouts. This is said to help improve the aspiring runner to achieve his running goals. It is downloadable to your ipod and you will have access to a coach encouraging you on at any time of the day. All you have to do is step onto your treadmill and press play on your ipod. Now it won’t be long until I run faster miles. I can’t wait to tell all my friends about these fantastic workouts! I have a feeling I’ll be hearing the word “wow” a lot more now. 

I was watching an episode of CSI or one of those crime shows the other night and it was about the murder of a boxer. Apparently they were able to track down the killer, in part, by tracking down who had signed off on his boxing gloves. I know this was just a television show, but I always think they’re based on true stories. I think it’s amazing what does a criminal in and how forensics is able to help the police catch the killers. I think I should have gone into police work instead of becoming a teacher as I find this work fascinating.
