I live in a small condo in the city, and space is at a minimum. I knew that there was no way to actually add square footage to my place, so I did the next best thing. I consulted several online guides about my options, and I chose to add decorative shelving to my living room and bedroom. It provided me with needed storage space, but it also added a nice touch that had previously been missing from my living space. Now I have a place to put picture frames and other small items, and it has given the space a personal touch. This has improved my living space tremendously!
