We just bought a little six acre farm out in the country and we are all so thrilled to step away from city life. We are finding it to be a bit of culture shock though. The stores are not right around the corner. It seems as if you have to drive to get to any place at all. The quiet is almost unnerving after listening to the hustle and bustle of the city all day. The previous owner had installed one of those home wind power kits. It will be a challenge to see if we can learn out to work with it. Getting back to the land is an exciting concept.
