Cultural Combinations :)

Turkish wedding ceremonies differ quite a bit from American ones, and we plan to combine the best of both. We won’t have a wedding party, but we will have witnesses. In a Turkish wedding, the bride and groom walk down the aisle without preamble, but accompanied with fireworks, then sit down at a table and sign a contract. For our wedding, we’d like a little more ritual than that. Both Turkish and American weddings highlight the bride and groom’s first dance, but afterward we’ll visit each guest and collect gold coins, Turkey style. We’re thrilled and feel very, very incredibly lucky to have an immensely talented, funny Angela Cappetta, flying in for just this occasion, to photograph our wedding with her highly acclaimed documentary new york city wedding photography approach.
